Cats Of San Bernardino is a non-profit animal rescue organization founded by two women named Jaina and Ivy. Although they usually rescue stray cats, they got the chance to save the life of a stray dog named Reina. They found Reina aimlessly walking in the middle of the road.
Jaina and Ivy observed that Reina wasn’t making any attempts to avoid traffic and knew that something must be terribly wrong. Jaina got out of her vehicle to help Reina and was surprised when Reina didn’t run away from her. Reina even went straight to Jaina to get picked up.
As soon as Jaina scooped Reina up, Reina instantly relaxed. Jaina and Ivy saw that one of Reina’s legs was broken. After taking her to the vet to get assessed, they confirmed her leg was broken, and was placed in a cast. Thankfully, the broken leg was the only problem that Reina had. Overall, she was healthy and was ready to go home the next day.
Jaina came back for Reina the next day to bring her home. Although Reina had a broken leg and was in pain, she was still happy to see Jaina. After Jaina took her back home and Reina immediately collapsed in the dog bed as soon as she felt how soft and comfortable it was.
Eventually, Reina was fostered by an amazing person named Meghan who instantly fell in love with her when she met her for the first time. Meghan decided to foster fail and gave Reina the forever home that she deserves.
After Reina’s cast was taken off, her playful personality came out. She loves the park where she gets to play with other dogs. She’s also very affectionate and loves cuddling with Meghan. Reina was able to find a new forever home thanks to Jaina and Ivy. Here’s a video featuring Reina’s story about how she was rescued and found a loving forever home.
