Baron, an English mastiff, is more than six feet tall and weighs 250 pounds, and he keeps getting bigger. The dog is a friendly giant who often spins in circles to greet his owners when they come downstairs in the morning. He also likes to run around with a rubber chicken in his mouth.
Baron’s owner, Mark York, shared that he adopted the dog after his previous owner found he could no longer care for the animal. York traveled over 900 km to take Baron to Sydney, where he now lives. He went on to say that Baron has some health issues and needs special care.
Some people may say that bigger dogs are not as friendly as small ones, but they are wrong. We should love all animals, no matter how big or small they are. The biggest pets are usually the friendliest of the species.
They can also play fetch with you and sometimes even cuddle up with you. Bigger dogs are just better because they are bigger. People think that small animals, such as dogs and cats, are the friendliest because they are easier to take care of.
However, this is not true. People should not judge appearances and should still love their pets regardless of their size. People should never judge pets by their appearance because they might end up being one of the nicest pets ever. Appearances can be deceptive.
Sometimes the smallest dog can prove to be the fiercest in a room of bullies. Sometimes the biggest dog can be the kindest dog around children. Dogs may appear fierce when they growl at someone they don’t know.
But if you get to know them and become their friend, then you will realize that they are very gentle animals who just need to get to know people better before trusting them. Pets might seem ugly on the outside, but on the inside, they can be some of the kindest animals on earth.
