Singapore is the setting for the narrative. A puppy was suffering on the bank of a river.
She was lying in the freezing water. It was chilly and raining outside. Her eyes were wide open, and she gazed at him all of a sudden. He chose to take her because it was constantly pouring.
He drove her to the nearest veterinarian. He spoke to her on the way and inquired whether she was all right. But, of course, she remained silent. Her expression, on the other hand, made his heart melt.
She was in pretty terrible shape, according to the vet. So the veterinarian first cleaned her, dewormed her, and gave her vitamins and her first meal in days.
She was returned home by the man. He sought assistance from his girlfriend. She fell in love with her when she saw her. “Rosie” was her nickname. She was the size of a drawer. A warm towel was now wrapped around her. She was no longer in any danger.
Rosie’s body temperature had risen. The pair recalls her soft tongue dripping from their palms in thanks. She was weak from being out in the cold without nourishment, so she didn’t move much. She couldn’t get herself up. She would hardly lift her head, but only to lean on the hands of her new owners.
Three important days passed.
There was a massive difference on the fourth day! Even though her legs were still weak, she tried to get up. Finally, she was able to stand up and take a few steps on the sixth day. She was able to play and run about the home a few days later.
She was the funniest and healthiest dog on the block a year later. Her owners adore her, and she reciprocates tenfold. She infuses their lives with unconditional love, kindness, and gratitude.
